Surrounded by strangers I thought were my friends

Those words perhaps are my life. Listening to music today, and man I can find so much meaning in all my songs. Now is it just me or does everyone disect song lyrics????

I had a count and realised that I have worked at over 25 supermarkets in my time.
That in itself means that with an average of 100 staff, I have made friends with a lot of strangers.
Well they are strangers now, but at that time of my life when I was working with them, they were my friends.

Whats happened to them you may ask. Well I am asking myself the same question.
I sometimes get so caught up in little trivial shit, that I cant see past my nose.

I know that you cant stay in contact with everyone forever as we all move in our own destiny, but sometimes I wonder what this life is all about

I had to Google it, and before it came up with the results I got it, but it didn't count, because I'd already cheated - aaarrrggghhh!!!! Actually, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I love Old Time Rock and Roll off his Greatest Hits Album (that I can't seem to locate - might have gone in the burg with my ZZ Top and ACDC?). Also I think that We've Got Tonight is a bit sexy (not quite in Marvin Gaye's - Let's Get It On league though). Anyway, far too much information.

Speaking of leagues, I'm well out of yours when it comes to moosik, I would like to see you go head-to-head with my mate from up the bush on anything from the 60's-90's, specialising in the 80's, though, for me that would be akin to something that inspried Charlie Daniels' The Devil Went Down To Georgia.....
